My Baptism

Evelyn was baptized Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murray, KY. She was baptized in the same gown that Tim wore at his baptism. The gown was made by Grandma Schroeder. Grandma helped us replace the blue ribbon with pink ribbon.

It was very special having Grandpa Schroeder baptize Evelyn. We were honored to have him also preach the sermon at our church.

I was thrilled that my Grandma was able to be there to celebrate with us.

Three weeks old

Don't worry, Mommy told me she plans to stop these weekly photo shoots soon; soon as in when I graduate high-school.

Aunt Jodi came to visit me, and she brought me all kinds of fancy bows. She'll have to be my fashion consultant since my Mommy's not too up on all that!

Grandma also brought me something to wear. I'm not too sure if I'll go to her for fashion advice, especially since she's made me look like I just came off the set of Little House on the Prairie.

I sure love cousin Emma. I can't wait to meet all my cousins this weekend at my baptism!

Introducing Evelyn Annelise Schroeder

We joyfully welcomed Evelyn Annelise into our family on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 4:15 pm. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces, measured 20 inches in length, and looked absolutely beautiful. We give thanks to God for this "good and perfect gift!" We thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
