We're Back!

Buckle your seatbelts...You're about to view the last three months of Schroeder happenings in 20 pictures, or less!
These are some of Evelyn's one year photos. Well, she was actually closer to 14 months when they were taken...

Our church offers a story time to children, and we created a float for the children to ride on during the Fourth of July parade. The following are shots taken the day of the parade.

Evie was pretty expressionless most of the parade, and she ended up zonking out at about the halfway point. Unfortunately, sometime over the weekend of the Fourth, we misplaced our camera. We held out hope that a 'certain someone' had managed to carry it off somewhere in the house and that it would turn up at some point. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. Thankfully, we were able to borrow a spare camera from my parents until we purchased one a few weeks ago. Maybe when little Miss Evelyn is able, she'll tell us where she put it. :) Or, her Mommy and Daddy will realize that they are to blame, which is probably more accurate!

We had the opportunity to vacation in Orlando, FL, with my parents and some of my nieces and nephews back in early August. Here is Evie with cousins Ian, Taylor, and Emma at Downtown Disney. We decided not to do DisneyWorld with Evie this time, but she had a great time playing in the water!

Playing under the waterfall with Daddy and Ian.
I love this girl!

What a cute piece of luggage!

We blinked our eyes and it was time for Daddy to go back to school. Evie misses him so much during the day. I think she calls for Daddy about 50(million) times. She insists on waving from the porch every morning and she stands by the door waiting to hear him pull up in the afternoon.
Daddy's first day last year. :)
Evie loves playing outside.
One of the (many) ways Evelyn is trying to exert her independence! :)

"Just singing in the rain..."

As it turns out, she also LOVES boots. She found them in a tub of hand-me-downs from a friend, and hasn't wanted to take them off since.

Evie loves playing with friend Keziah.

We had a nice visit with Chris, Kendra, Annamarie and Luke over Labor Day weekend.

The girls getting ready for the kick-off of college football season.

Go Huskers!!!! Thanks, Aunt Kendra, for the dress. We love it!!
Three of the cutest Husker fans I've ever seen!

Remembering back to last year at this time! They grow up so quickly!!
Sweet Annamarie
Hard to believe this little guy is already 6 months old!

Go Murray State Racers!
I couldn't resist! :)

Well, it looks like it may have been more than 20 pictures...
We have a camera now, so really, I have no excuse for not staying current. Happy Fall everyone, and hopefully, you'll hear from us before Christmas.

Love from Kentucky!
